This piece was inspired by Conn of the Hundred Battles. As the name suggests, Conn' s reign was filled with strife. Due to the his gift for the military lifestyle, Conn attained fame beyond worthier men but became a great source of pride of some of the noblest families of the land. Many of these Nobles still trace their descent back to him. Unfortunately Conn's life was ended at Tara as fifty men dressed as women and hired by the King Of Ulster assassinated this Monarch.
